Andrea N. Myers

Andrea Myers is a shareholder with Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek. She is a trial attorney and represents individuals and companies in litigation involving complex business matters, real estate, professional liability, and estates and trusts disputes. Ms. Myers guides clients through all stages of litigation, advocating before judges, juries, and arbitrators. She successfully balances the practical realities of doing business, while utilizing the pragmatism and advocacy required to obtain the best results for her clients. 

With extensive experience in real property law, she advises clients in the areas of construction law, land use and development disputes, title litigation, and tenancy disputes.

Ms. Myers also routinely represents clients in business matters, including contract and license claims, products liability and warranty claims, corporate dissolutions, and UCC disputes.

Clients also turn to Ms. Myers in estates and trusts litigation, with a particular emphasis on will and trust contests, elder abuse matters, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and conservatorships.

Ms. Myers also represents numerous lawyers and other professionals in complex malpractice, fraud, and ethics disputes.

Education

Ms. Myers received her bachelor's degree in Economics and Government from Claremont McKenna College in 2003, and her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2008. While in law school, Ms. Myers received multiple honors in legal research and writing, and the award for excellence in oral advocacy. She was also the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Law of the American Democracy.

Prior to joining Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek, Ms. Myers worked as an analyst for Mercer Consulting. Ms. Myers was a summer associate at the firm in 2007.
