Ora Lupear

Ora Lupear is a seasoned litigator and trial lawyer with significant experience representing institutional and individual shareholders in some of the country’s largest and most complex business disputes, including securities class actions related to mergers & acquisitions and shareholder derivative actions. As a member of Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek’s Litigation Department, Ora represents clients in a variety of business, commercial, real estate and white collar disputes.

Education

Ora earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Nevada, Reno, where he played Division I football.

Employment Background

Prior to joining SCMV in April 2024, Ora practiced at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP, a national securities litigation firm, where he investigated and prosecuted high-profile breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and insider trading securities class actions and shareholder derivative actions on behalf of the institutional and individual shareholders. Ora’s work helped investors recover hundreds of millions of dollars in losses incurred as a result of misconduct by corporate directors and officers. Early in his legal career, Ora served as a prosecutor in New York City and at a firm in the Northeast where he represented two Fortune 500 insurance carriers in fraud-related lawsuits.
