Chelsea Kanzler

Education

Ms. Kanzler obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric degree with High Honors from the University of California, at Berkeley in two and a half years. Ms. Kanzler graduated from the University of San Diego, School of Law in 2024, cum laude, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2024.

During law school, Ms. Kanzler participated on University of San Diego’s International Law Review and was published by the University of California, Davis, International Law Journal. She also worked as a research assistant to Professor Dov Fox.

Employment Background

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Kanzler served with the organization Teach for America for two years at the middle school Juan Crespi Middle School in El Sobrante, California. She continued teaching middle school English and remedial reading courses for an additional two years after her commitment ended.

During law school, Ms. Kanzler interned for the Chula Vista City Attorney’s Office and externed for the Honorable Judge Andrew Schopler, then a magistrate judge in the Southern District of California and now a United States District Court Judge in the Southern District of California. She worked as a summer associate at Seltzer Caplan in 2023.
