4 ways Biden wants to remake labor law

Incoming President Joe Biden will work to transform federal law governing the workplace.

The biggest changes will require Congressional action. With Democrats controlling the U.S. Senate by one vote, major legislative changes will require Republican cooperation or elimination of the legislative filibuster.

Other changes will result from Biden’s appointments to the Department of Labor, the National Labor Relations Board, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Here are four changes Biden’s campaign website said he would seek.
