Accomplished Trial Attorney Gilson B. Gray Joins SCMV
SCMV is pleased to announce that Gilson B. Gray joined the firm’s Litigation Department as of counsel.
A seasoned trial lawyer, Gilson has extensive experience in the courtroom and is a polished and skilled advocate. His practice focuses on a variety of civil litigation and white-collar defense areas including appellate matters. He has successfully tried over 40 cases to jury verdict and resolved thousands of cases through negotiations, pretrial briefings and investigations.
Prior to joining SCMV, Gilson worked as a deputy public defender in San Diego defending clients facing misdemeanor and felony criminal charges and minors in juvenile proceedings. He also specialized in appellate matters, representing clients seeking post-conviction relief.
Gilson is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association and Association of Business Trial Lawyers. He also serves on the Southwestern Yacht Club Board of Directors.
Gilson received his law degree from Emory University School of Law, where he served on the Emory Law Journal and received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Property. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English from Vassar College.
