Joe Martinez Named Among San Diego’s 50 Influential Leaders
Congratulations to SCMV Shareholder Joe Martinez for being named one of San Diego’s 50 Influential Leaders by The Daily Transcript.
The Daily Transcript highlighted Joe’s extensive experience representing clients in real estate and business transactions, as well as his role as the leader of SCMV’s Cross-Border practice group. His expertise encompasses a variety of sophisticated matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, equity investment, development, leasing and secured lending transactions. Most notably, Joe has completed more than $550 million in transactions this past year.
The publication also highlighted Joe’s volunteer efforts, which include the San Diego Padres Hispanic Community Advisory Council, Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center’s board of directors, the Southwestern College Foundation and the Red Cross of San Diego and Imperial Counties. Joe is currently using his real estate knowledge to help guide Sharp Chula Vista's expansion as it constructs a new 138-room facility, the South Bay's first new hospital in more than 40 years. According to Joe, his volunteer work helps make him a better attorney. "I think San Diego is a beautiful place with a lot of talented people. If they would just pick one or two causes to dedicate their time to, I think every person could do a little bit of good,” he said.
