New California workplace laws for 2024
On Jan.1, new California workplace laws will take effect that may require employers to take specific action.
California’s minimum hourly wage for all employers will increase to $16. Employees who work at least two hours in one work week within the city of San Diego must be paid at least $16.85 an hour for those hours.
