SCMV named Jubilee Law Firm by Casa Cornelia Law Center
As a proud supporter of the Casa Cornelia Law Center, SCMV was honored to be named a Jubilee Law Firm at the center’s annual La Mancha Awards, recognizing the firm's pro bono efforts over the last year.
Casa Cornelia is a public interest law firm providing quality pro bono legal services to victims of human and civil rights violations, with a primary commitment to the indigent within the immigrant community in southern California. Its annual La Mancha Awards celebrates the dedication of exceptional attorneys and law firms who have a commitment to the success of Casa Cornelia's clients and their cases. This year, Casa Cornelia celebrated its 25th anniversary during the La Mancha Awards, commemorating over 10,000 children, women and men who received pro bono legal services, were granted protections, and escaped violence and persecution in their countries of origin.
Additionally, SCMV Shareholder Greg Vega sits on the center's board of directors helping to educate others regarding the impact of immigration law and policy on the community and the public good.
