Scott Williams Named a Top 100 Influential Leader in San Diego
We're pleased to announce that Scott Williams has been named to The Daily Transcript's list of Top 100 Influential Leaders in San Diego. The list recognizes the region's best in real estate, construction, finance, law, nonprofit and public sector work.
Scott was recognized for his tenacity in some of San Diego County's most hard-fought battles over public space, such as his role as lead counsel for the Plaza de Panama Committee, where he led the effort to get approval for Qualcomm founder Irwin Jacobs' proposal to create new parking structures in Balboa Park.
The publication also highlighted Scott’s winning court ruling that allowed S.D. Malkin Properties Inc. to develop a 4-star beachfront resort in Oceanside as part of the city's efforts to revitalize the neighborhood.
Scott was also credited with helping the San Diego Symphony obtain a long-term lease and development permit for a permanent Summer Pops concert facility along the San Diego Bay and helping the San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art obtain a development permit to expand its downtown La Jolla location.
Congratulations, Scott!
