Scott Williams Named Among San Diego’s 50 Influential Leaders
Congratulations to SCMV Shareholder Scott Williams for being named one of San Diego’s 50 Influential Leaders by The Daily Transcript.
The Daily Transcript highlighted Scott’s land-use practice, as well as his headline-making projects throughout San Diego County, including the approval of San Diego Symphony's Bayside Performance Park, the expansion of the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and the defense of Surf Cup Sports for the rights to the Polo Field property. According to Scott, he enjoys being a part of the growth and evolution of the community. "San Diego is such a wonderful place to live and visit, and it is satisfying to feel I have played a small part in helping San Diego stay that way, “ he said.
The publication also highlighted Scott’s communication skills, as it is important to address community concerns early when it comes to land development. “One of the very first things I discuss with my clients is an effort to solicit input from the community and be responsive to that input to avoid controversy and litigation later,” he said.
