The Law at Work: Court rules former Indianapolis Colt ineligible receiver of California workers comp

In his latest The Law at Work column in the San Diego Union-Tribune, shareholder Dan Eaton explains why the California Court of Appeal rejected former Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Larry Tripplett’s attempt to get California workers compensation for cumulative trauma he sustained during his career. Dan also explains why so many pro athletes, even those with limited playing time in the state, filed California workers’ compensation claims for decades and the limits a recent change in the law places on such claims.
